if NE turns the ball over, uconn will turn the pace up. Calhoun won't quit, I just read something about how other coaches have been telling his recruit that he is going to retire- he sounded pretty pissed. However, dyson hasn't tried since they beat texas, and robinson has been lazy for almost as long. But if i were one of them i wouldn't want my last college game to be a home loss v. NE

U Conn and NC are the most likely to completely flop and even lose first game outright. Mental states of both are ???????????

Miss State will likely be flat and uninterested first game, barely win but not cover the HUGE number, same with AZ St, Cincy, Ole Miss and VT.

BUT as the tourney goes on, these teams will get more involved and start covering.

I would say UNC more than UCONN because they won a national championship a year ago and now they are playing in a tournament no one cares about. I could be wrong but after all their under achieving all season, who's to say they won't get upset by a team who would like be NIT champs?

I would say UNC, but that is probably more due to the fact they aren't that good. I don't agree the notion that UConn will quit, at least not in their first game. I think that Calhoun will light a fire under these guys after the showing in the Big East Tourney.

i just posted this in my thread but how can the kids from mis st actually get up for this game? i know nothing of jackson st but 21 points against a team that has to be in depression sounds good to me
