    South florida -3, trap?
Is this a trap or just a good bet? South florida can beat anyone and at these low spreads their poor late game execution will not hurt them.

I like State they have beaten some good teams last week and Florida beat garbage teams like providence depaul, but they did beat Kentucky, but i would take NC just because of their play of late.

        No one beat Kentucky.

South Florida beat Kent (of Ohio?) State.
They did also beat Seton Hall, Pittsburgh, Georgetown, Cincinnati and Connecticut.

This is a rough game to handicap.

Leaning towards South Florida, but can not pull the trigger.

          Good luck.

If South Florida can beat anyone, that's why G'Town whooped their ass in the Big East tourney I guess. I would go USF in this game, seems too easy though.

NC State burns me whichever way I play them.

If I bet against them, I lose.

If I bet on them, I lose.

              Good luck on your bet.

I'm thinking of going huge on south florida here. If they give a shit they will roll.

Had you seen NC states game vs Georgia tech you would be on SF as well. They looked like a high school team in the 1st half (at best).

South Florida will come out and defend well, and on top of that make layups in the paint since NC state is a weak team.

                  Laying of because:

                  1. Some sharp cappers on NC state
                  2. Questionable motivation for SF

I like NC State they play good D and should shut Fla down and frustrate them. If they actually hit a few shots they look like an easy winner here.

NC State top wins: Duke, Clemson, and Florida State.
                        USF top wins: Georgetown

NC State has better wins but USF is the better team if you look at their Pomeroy stats. This is too much of a toss up to be played.

In the NIT you never know who wants to play and who doesn't. General rule the mid-major will play their hearts out but will not win because of lesser talent. But as a general rule will cover most of the time. With this game...both schools have nothing to play for and Vegas gives the edge to USF because they are playing at home.
