Laker, I think you need to qualify actually... First you said the lowest-seed upset winner gets the points... But then later you said EVERY upset winner from 10 and below gets 5 points? I think you just meant the lowest seed that wins. (Or if say two 13-seeds win, posters who picked either would get the 5 points.)

every poster gets to pick one seed of 10 or higher.
if they pick correctly:
a 10 seed wins 1 point
an 11: 2
a 12: 3
a 13: 5
a 14: 10
a 15: 15
a 16: 25
or something like that
so entrants into the contest would have to decide whether to go with a low-risk #10 or go for a higher reward pick.
if you do decide to go this route, I'd suggest starting it over, otherwise you're going to have people editing picks, or quoting their picks and changing them, which will make it confusing to grade. Then in the new thread, request that picks only go there. Discussion could be here.
