#4I can't see the SEC getting only 3, that would be a joke. The SEC is the 4th rated RPI conference, no way I see them being treated like the 6th or 7th rated conference and getting only 3 teams. Florida or Mississippi State will get in, good dayComment -

#5Mississippi State has some really really really bad losses for a Big conference school.
They lost to Rider and Western Kentucky.
Yeah, they got hot in this tournament but is that good enough to get them in?
I don't know.
Who do you kick to the curb if you put MSU in?Comment -

#7I'm leaning towards no, but that's simply because everyone on ESPN has been saying that...Comment -

#8Where was this kind of effort by Mississippi State earlier in the season? If it doesn't get in, there's no one to blame except itself.Comment -

#9I'm a Mississippi State fan, and as nice as it would have been to have sealed the deal with the win over Kentucky, it's not going to come down to this loss. If they'd closed out some games earlier in the season (lost to Richmond by one, blew a big lead at Arkansas, had halftime leads and lost at Western Kentucky and Florida, lost a late lead vs. Kentucky in the first game, had a chance to win in the final minute at Alabama), there'd have been no doubt about their resume coming in today, much less after how well they played today.
Are they one of the best teams in the country on their best day? No doubt about it, and if they get in, they can do some serious damage. However, not bringing that same heart and effort all 34 times they've been on the court this season is what will make the difference if they don't get in.
These next few hours are going to be pretty nervy for me, to say the least. Darn New Mexico State and Houston for winning yesterday. Let's go Buckeyes!Comment -

#13I have Mississippi St. as the last team in over Florida, VT, and Illinois, but most reputable bracketologists have them out. Normally I think all 4 teams would be out, but the bubble is weaker this year and Mississippi St. finished hot and just beat Vandy in Nashville and almost beat Tennessee so I give them an edge.
I also think Minnesota will still make it even after the blowout loss.Comment -

#16Florida's overall profile was better, so I understand why they got in, but I would have still gone with Mississippi St. Florida shouldn't have been a 10th seed though.Comment -
