I like Miss. State +7.5 against UK for a few reasons. Miss State played UK extremely well in the only meeting of the year, leading a lot of the game before losing in overtime WITHOUT a top scorer in Ravern Johnson (13 PPG). I believe Jarvis Varnardo really alters UK's ability to get to the basket which basically handicaps their offense to shooting the basketball where they are 27% the past 5 games. My only concern is how well MSU will shoot the basketball. They tend to just shoot 3 pointers at random times for offense which makes them less attractive to me but still a decent play.
I also like Minnesota +4 against Ohio State. I understand how great Evan Turner is, but they've had a VERY tough time with Michigan and Illinois so far. Minnesota has had an UNREAL tourny so far, knocking off Michigan State AND Purdue. Minnesota has as much talent as anybody, not sure why it's taken them so long to come through but they are 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games!
Lastly, I think Georgia Tech deserves a little more respect than being a 9.5 point dog to Duke. We all know how well the dogs have fared ATS and SU in the ACC tourny, I think Tech can end it with a shocking win over Duke. Favors will be very tough to guard for Duke and I just see Tech as the hungriest team and the team playing the best.
