Georgetown vs. Syracuse In Game Thread

Was liking Syracuse at -5.5, but at 6.5 will probably stay away. What do you guys think about this Big East Matchup?

I think we'll find out how motivational Jim Boeheim is today. This team could have sleepwalked into the Big East tourney if they beat Louisville last week, but that loss should have been a wake-up call and motivating tool for the Orange. This should be the best game today. Greg Monroe is the key in this game. If he was a big game, Hoyas can cover and even win outright. If 'Cuse contains him, they should win and cover.

Like I said elsewhere this game is a huge rivalry that goes back to the beginning of the Big East. I agree with EaglesPhan that Monroe is key, he has to get to the interior and stay out of foul trouble. I don't think Cuse beats a good Gtown team 3 times in one year. Gtown +6.5. They slow this game right down. U 139. Should be a great game.

But playing a team 3 times in one year is never good. EaglesPhan hit the nail on the head. If SU won against Lou they probably don't show up but nobody wants to enter the big dance with 2 straight L's espically when you are suppose to be a #1 seed!! The Garden is SU's 2nd home...there will be plenty or orange in the stands. I hate GTown....Cuse roll!!
