i'm prob the complete worst person to ask on the subject of Pitt games.....
I'm a Huge fan, have been since I was a little boy and my cousin played for them. used to get to go to fitgerald field house with my other younger cousin.
anywho, i've lost alot of money fading Pitt this year. I see them as completely over-rated and under-talented.
but I way way way underestimated how great of a coach Jamie Dixon is, and how much he gets his team to buy into the team concept and system they use.
I planned on Fading Pitt in this game. but I don't like this line. it seems fishy...
here is ND the hottest team in the Big East right now, AND they just got the 2 team big east player of the year back and healthy, and they just demolished Pitt about 10 days ago without Harangody....
but the line is Pitt-1???? not saying that is it a trap. but I just don't really know what to make of it.
Other than that Pitt owns the Big East tourney and Madison Square Garden....
Under might be my only play, as I know ND won't shoot anywhere near as good as they did against Pitt last game.Comment -
im kinda thinking Harangody by his own admission doesnt quite have his conditioning back and could be gassed after yesterdays performance the way ND been playing certainly favors pit and also kinda think ND knew yesterday got them in no doubt possible let down today, but damn they are hotComment -

Funny how two people can look at a game so differently.
I see the trap going the other way.
I see Pitt as the #2 seed in the BE, and ND's problems in the Garden over the years and I think the line should be Pitt -4 or -5.
After all, that previous ND/Pitt game was in South Bend. ND isn't the same team (no team is really) away from home.Comment -
true martin. Like I said i'm the total wrong guy to ask....and fading my Pitt plays would make you profitable almost no matter what happens going forward here..
I don't think you can deny that Pitt has vastly over-achieved given their talent level this year, and ND up until recent has been vastly under-achieving....
I would think the Public would be all over Pitt here.... but I guess a case can be made for the public seeing harangody back and ND's hot play of late and be alll over them...
like I said, I don't have a clue on this game

Notre Dame is the play guys. Scott and Nash have become good contributors inside for ND and Jackson is finally a stud. Does Pitt have anybody that can stop Gody? McGhee is a pretty big guy and doesn't seem agile enoughComment -
great point T, Mcghee is a stiff with no feet, though he is a good shot blocker and a decent sized body. He won't be a real player until next year though. and after him, there is no real big guy offensively or defensively more importantly.
I think this is the most salient issue when capping this game, unless Gibbs/Wannamaker/ect go 11/20 shooting 3's or somthing
Nasir Robinson is under sized and raw, Dante Taylor is super raw, Lamar Patterson is so raw, that I barely can describe him since i've seen him so little...... basically the only other real "big man" they have is Gilbert Brown who is a small forward or maybe even a tall 2...... that is forced to play the 4 on this roster.... and he literally has a great game and than an invisible game....
again, the last ND/Pitt game, Pitt knew all they needed to do was shut down the perimeter..... which is somthing that Pitt excells at.... looking at 3-point % against numbers
but ND torched them.
Now they have to worry about Gody and the perimeter... chances are that ND is NOT as hot from the outside this game..... but at the same time, they'll have a few more 2nd chances and inside points thanks to Luke.....Comment -
