#11yep part of handicapping i would think is to try and determine the subjective and put a weight on it...for example, how much does this game mean to gtown and to cuse....have to do research on the present form of both teams and then make a decision. the metrics should be easier to determine since the stats are there for off and defComment -

#13If Syracuse loses this game after losing their regular season finale, they COULD conceivably lose their #1 seed. That alone should keep them motivated.Comment -

#17Yeah, now that I look, it seems inconceivable that somebody else gets a one-seed besides those three and Cuse. I may have to take back what I said, the four number ones may already be etched in stone regardless of what happens in the conference tounieys. Purdue could have been a party pooper if not for Hummel injury.Comment -

#18exactly. if syracuse loses to GTown and Duke, Ohio State and K-State all won conference championships they certainly would be a 2 seed............but as the big east/acc tourny go deeper look for syracuse and duke to ease off a bit. at least duke, i saw an interview wher coach k explained how winning the ACC tourny hurts a deep NCAA runComment -

#19They'll have a big crowd behind them to motivate them. I really think they want a BET championship. Though, I except them to come out slow then take the game over in the 2nd half.Comment -

#22i honestly believe cuse rather not make a deep run in this tourney as the coach knows how taxing that can be..but if they get bounced early he gets a week to prove a point to them that they need work. look at last year the tourney drained them and they were not ready for the dance with a 1 locked up i dont see the motivation....on the other hand gtown needs these wins as they are just starting to click again. it bothers me how much trouble the 2-3 has givin the hoyas but i dont really get it as Monroe should be the ultimate zone killers tons of height a great passer he just needs to man up and gtown gets it doneComment -

#26G'town, 'Cuse is a huge Big East rivalry going back to the early '80s. These teams like each other about as much as Duke and Carolina like each other. That being said, I don't think 'Cuse beats G'town 3 times this year. I like G'town +5.5, I'm also going under 139, I think both teams are in the high 50s or in the 60s as G'town slows this game down. The key for the Hoyas will be Monroe, he has to do work inside and more important stay out of foul trouble. Should be a great game though.Comment -

#27I would think winning the BE Tourney is motivation enough. Maybe you see a team lose motivation when they ose confidence and dont actually believe that they can win it. The Cuse will be plenty motivated, so will Gtown imo.Comment -

#28Syracuse will win, but -6½ is too much to give up. The last game they played, Georgetown only lost by 4. These two teams are very familiar with each other, now.Comment -

#31Orange need to come back with a strong performance today. Win or lose. Lousiville's 2nd half should be a concern for them because I still think a team that mixes in a zone against 'Cuse and has a big man who can work the interior [Monroe] can beat them.Comment -

This should be a "No-Play".....
