Right there with you on Marquette, my main play today. And TWoods is right, the fact St John dominated on a national stage yesterday actually helps us, IMO Marquette should come in as 7-8 point chalk. Smaller plays on USF, Colorado, SMU and ECar if anyone is interested.

Marquette my best play on the board. Focus and hard work will get this for MU. The loss at home to ND is motivation itself. Buzz Williams should get coach of the year IMO.
They are a very undersized team that lost so much from last year and competed with everyone this season. No chance for looking ahead and NO team works harder than MU.

Only concern is foul trouble. A clean game and MU gets this done.

Marquette has a history of close games---They played 14 games that were decided by 5 or fewer points---and they played SJU to an OT win just a few weeks back on this very court.

Marquette is very very prone to 1-2 point games, if you really feel the need to take them lay the extra chalk and just take the ml.

I'd say taking the points is the real play if you have to have action on this game. Marquette lives and dies by the 3. never put too much money on a streaking shooting team with absolutely NO depth.

a few quick cheap fouls and you are really hurting without an adequete backup at most positions

I agree with 2daBank. That 4 point spread is huge with Marquette's tendency to have so many close games this season. I can definitely see them squeaking out a 2 to 3 point win, and not covering...
