I don't understand this. There is no certainty they win this game SU, why not try in the big east tourney and maybe turn some heads and make it to the semis or something.

while my initial reaction was 'oh crap,' this actually could be good news. if UConn is focused, they should beat St John's by double digits. a tactic like this should only make them more focused. plus, it's not as if there's no talent on UConn's bench.

and i completely disagree that they'll mail it in to show up their coach. you have to wait until you're in the NBA to do that.
