The Bulls (19-11, 9-9) closed the regular season with a flurry by defeating Providence at home, DePaul on the road and Connecticut at home to reach the .500 mark in Big East play. The Blue Demons (8-22, 1-17) have lost 12 straight and haven’t won since the middle of January. Led by high-scoring Dominique Jones, the Bulls shoot it well and should have too much for the Blue Demons, although DePaul proved feisty in the first round of the Big East tournament last season.
