I love the UCONN pick. I love it too much. -4 at home and St Johns will be tired. I don't love the fact that 69% are on UCONN though.

lines seem to be right on.
don't overestimate how much basketball it really takes for these kids that play 4-10 hrs of ball a day in the summer to get tired..... and don't underestimate how the 18-22 year old body recovers from 4 nights of rest.
last year in the BE tourney Syracuse won a hard fought 6 ot game vs uconn if you remember and THE NEXT NIGHT, came back to beat WVU......

I also am in agreement on Uconn but I see Depaul covering particularly if you are getting 7.5.

Uconn -4 is getting the most public action of any side today. We saw what happened when that happened last night with Gonzaga.

Yeah, UCONN has the potential to just blow this game out but they have not been consistant at all this year. And im afraid to pull the trigger on South Florida game because i think SF will cover but as we all know Depaul is capable of staying close cause they always stay close I say that if Depaul has a lead at all in the Second Half SF wont cover

Teasing both South Florida and UCONN is the safest opion. Just give them 4 points a piece that would take them both to nearly a pickem. well not really South FL is at -7 now. I still say tease build the bankroll

This is crazy.........
It's like we all overthink these games and try to think we know it all. Take for example last night who would have thought Gonzaga would lose by 19. I had 1000 on then to be -4 then at halftime I put 1000 against them to even out the risk. It was a good move but still if we all new it all we wouldnt be sitting on the computer trying to handicapp games.
South Florida today has a better record......more wins then loses.....and even beat Pitt I remember (cause I'm from Pittsburgh and go to Pitt University) all signs point to taking South Florida....right?
Well I think it all depends on the mind set of these players when game time hits.....the motivation and drive......the hype that players feel....that's where games are won and lose and no one can predict that..(like Gonzage last night) that's just one of many examples.

Tourney DOGS...
TAKE THE POINTS!!!
UConn has dissapointed people all year long and I expect them to do it again tonight.
When it comes down to conference tourneys, and two teams wanting it more than anything on nuetral floors to get into the big dance and have there shot at glory, that motivation can even out any two schools!!!
TAKE THE POINTS!
GLTA whoever your on!

I know that is a lot of points, but I have a feeling that South Florida will come out fired up for this first round game. JC2008 makes a lot of great points, it is all about motivation, their mind sets, the hype at tip off, etc. Can Depaul really get up for this game with an 8-22 record, and their season over with a loss today? I just have a feeling that if they get down by 10 or so, they will just give up.

I don't think I'll tread too much on this South Florida game. I took the South Florida moneyline and parlayed them with the Philadelphia Flyers $10.62 to win $10.00 (Philly has beaten the Islanders 14 straight I believe) and then took Depaul on the ML $10 to win $28 just in case they somehow win. Doubt it though. It's odd though... with Depaul's record, you would assume the moneyline would be higher than +280, same as SF's ML, etc. Also took over 57 for the first half, small. GL to all!

I can't believe all the people who are on UCONN. They have looked like dog crap so many times this year. I'm not playing that game so I will definitely be rooting for the Huskies for you guys. I hope the pick is golden for you.
