I don't think they're soft, they're definitely inexperienced and somewhere down the line they may meet a team that has been to the show before that could derail them. It all comes down to draw, the only team among the so called top seeds that I think can make it through a mine field is Kansas. Kentucky I think can be beaten by a team that has some interior size and maybe throws a zone at them at opportune times, not necessarily all game - Kentucky's shooters run hot and cold. Syracuse I think is a team that can also be derailed with a zone defense, but that team has to have good size to offset Onuaku and Jackson. KU I think has the total package. You take away Collins, Aldrich and Henry can kill you. You take away Aldrich, Collins kills you. They have size, depth, experience, hunger and good defense. Only weakness is that their FT shooting can go junky now and again.Comment -

I wouldn't be surprised of they lose in the Sweet 16, but I definitely say no further than the Eilite Eight unless they have the good fortune to run into some Cinderella team. And I don't even think they are one of best eight teams in the country, the only reason they may get that far is their undeserved seeding, meaning supposedly easier matchups.

guy, believe it or not wins in December aren't and shouldn't be that valuable. EVERY DAMN year UL plays shitty in non conference. Louisville has beaten Syracuse (twice), Notre Dame, East Tennessee State, Western Kentucky (more than likely will be in), and UConn twice (I think they sneak in somehow). The real tale is who we've been up on late in games. We actually did BEAT WVU on the road before two shitty calls that resulted in suspensions were made. Up 4 with a minute to go at Pitt, as well as a phantom call that resulted in more ref suspensions at Seton HallComment -
UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! TPowell your killing me, do you do stand up comedy? In your last post (#46) when talking about who Louisville/your team has wins against you say "and UCONN twice I think they sneak in somehow". BUT 12 hours ago in POST #36 when talking about Kentucky's wins you said "UCONN ISN'T IN even though they played them right down to the wire". I'm not trying to be mean here, but honestly I would never listen to you in the future if your talking about Louisville or Kentucky as you are way off base obvouisly grossly over influenced by emotion. Not to annoy you but I have tell you Kentucky is a far better team than Louisville this year, though I would not want to match up with Louisville in the NCAA if I was a top ranked team in their region as I think Lousiville is very capable of pulling a big upset. All I'm saying (in the nicest way possible) is I think we should be objective and not let being a fan over influence us as it did in your post.

Hugh, have you ever played/coached a game of basketball in your life? I ask because i believe you're a terrible judge of talent. Kentucky is YOUNG not SOFT! They start 3 freshman i don't know what you don't get about that! Cousins is one of the best post players in the nation as a FRESHMAN! John Wall is one of the best point guards in the nation as a FRESHMAN and Bledsoe is a good compliment when he wants to be. They have showed me plenty by the comeback at Tennessee that just fell short. The comeback AT Mississippi State for the WIN down 6 with 3 to go. The win AT Vanderbilt. I honestly think Kentucky makes it the Finals game. They are always in every game and they show a ton of heart the way they win on the road. I think you're right that they don't have the killer instinct but that come with EXPERIENCE. I go out of my way to watch every Kentucky game i can because i love the brand of basketball they play! Kansas is the most solid team and will make it to to the Finals, but after them its pretty much a cluster**** and any of the Top 15 could be there with Kansas at no surprise at all.Comment
