Besides playing Tenn 3 times who have the played??? RPI SOS is a 31 overall and 101 for their non-conference games this year. That is says a lot. They beat Vanday twice and Lou. Those were the only top 50 RPI teams they had besides Tenn. They only beat UConn and UNC by 2 and 3 points. I don't know they are a talented team but I don't think they are Final 4 material this year.

Kentucky can't be hated just because a team they beat took a nosedive. Take N. Carolina as an example. N. Carolina was 8-1 at the time of the game including winning @ Ohio St and beating Mich. St. The only loss was to Syracuse (not even ranked at the time). Then N. Carolina went on a nosedive. Like you said we beat a Louisville team that beat Syracuse twice. The fact of the matter is that we win. We lost twice and avenged both losses and we win the close games.

Agree. I think everyone will pencil in Marq without giving that one too much thought but Was looks like a decent team....better than Cal. Cal is 1-6 vs RFP top 50. Memphis missed 4 of 5 free throws at the end of the game and that's why they lost. You want him to shoot the free throws for them??? there is a diff between a great coach and a great recruiter. Caliperi is a great recruiter and has an eye for the right type of talent but I disagree completely if you say he is a great coach. The tourny needs a geat coach and Caliperi will NEVER guide 3 19 yr olds through the tourny. If these kids were 21 and already got the experience I would say hell yeah they are Favs to win it but I don't think the coach is good enough to get them through. He did do an excellent job finding them and getting them to Kentucky though i'll give him that!

If the kids stayed more than 1 year he could get a national title. Rose skipped out after 1 year. John Wall and Cousins will only be at KY 1 year. If he had Sherron Collins (4 years) Cole Aldrich (3 Years) he would have some time to teach them, make them a team and try to win it all. Hard to win a national championship with a couple 18 year olds which are 1 and gone.

purdue is awful w/o hummel....siena has won 2 first round games in a row!...they beat ohio st last year (and even though OSU is better this year) and OSU last year was probably better than a hummel-less purdue this year

yeah that temple cornell game should come down to the wire. I just don't want to over think and take temple over UK that would be a monumental upset that I don't see happening. I'm going to back off Wofford I think and take Wisc... Bo Ryan and seniors should be good for a 1st round win. Will def take wofford plus the points though for a couple units!
