Maryland -4.5 @ Virginia

I really just don't understand this spread. How is Maryland only -4.5 at Virginia?
Virginia hasn't even won a game Since Feb. 3. If Maryland wins this game they are ACC regular season champs and yet the line is -4.5??? When this game was played at Maryland they won by 19. Why is Maryland only -4.5???

Going with MD here. Virginia was just beat by about 20 at home by Duke, I see no reason why MD can't win this one by at least 10+.

I understand both these points. However, Virginia hasn't beaten anyone in just over a month now. In all those games they have been beaten soundly. Also, I don't see a letdown since Maryland wins ACC regular season with this win.

I Agree, Tarps are waaay to strong for VA. It is a fishy line, or are we reading too much into it. I'm still in Tarps -4.5. Scared Money never made Money!!

I agree. I like the home dog in this case. Maryland looks way too easy at
-4.5. I'll take my chances on a small play with the home dog. I may even put a 1/2unit on the M/L as well for shits & giggles.

Didn't Landesburg miss the Duke game? Is he expected to play today? Virginia is in the middle of an epic slide. I would play Maryland here even though it's on the road.

Herd, we're thinking exactly alike here. However I will take Louisville not Syracuse.
Maryland - looks like it could be the play of the day. Their players are way too savvy to be affected by home crowds. The only thing that can help Virginia is the referees. Let's hope that doesn't happen.

Another game I'm looking at is Texas A&M @ Oklahoma. Line is Texas A&M -3.5. Might just take that ML. Willie Warren is out for Oklahoma. Could be a tight game going either way.
