Really not much of a system, but.....
Has anyone ever tried to tail the ESPN handicappers? I'm assuming they pick games that they feel should be pick 'em spreads. Many times there comes up games that are 3 point spreads at sportsbooks, sometimes even higher. For example the Tenn @ Miss game is up on the board for tomorrow and opened at a +3.5 Tenn spread.
So, if you were tailing ESPN and assuming they handicap down to pick 'em games, you would take Tenn +3.5.......
NCAAB plays tomorrow by taking the underdog in all Streak 4 the Cash plays. These are opening lines.
Miami +2
'Cuse +1.5 (hate this play, but i'm going to take it)
Utah +2
Ark +1.5
Georgia +1
Tenn +3.5
Iona/Niagra PK (Line swung to Iona +1 no, so Iona would be the play)
CS Northridge +3.5
I don't have any idea if this will work...probably not....but, I've been thinking about it for awhile and figure I will at least take a shot at it. Figure that whoever is picking these games for ESPN is a smart dude/dudette.
BTW, tailing streaks 4 cash underdogs would have went 5-2 friday (one of the losses being DePaul +3 in that 3OT game). BACK TESTED AND PROVEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
