#8Well LVill did beat us at home and plays a style that gives us trouble. Plus, we've all but locked up a number 1 seed. Still, I think we win this game.Comment -

#18duke game is different. maryland was ranked are a better team this year than louie louie ville...plus syracuse has zip, zero losses on the road. plus this game is on a saturday where joey bag a donuts bets whereas he doesn't as much on weeknights. he just cashed his check and whats left after the bar tab on friday goes down.Comment -

#21dont forget that Louisville has won the last 4 or 5 games SU against the Cuse. Pitino knows Boeheim's system really well, as does assistant coach Ralph WillardComment -

#29Louisville is still trying to get into ncaa tournament, and sweeping Syracuse would go a long way toward that. This game is meaningless for Syracuse except for their national ranking, and even that is basically meaningless as they have probably locked up a one-seed in NCAA Tourney even if they lose this.Comment -

#30exactly LT. not only did l-ville beat syracuse @ syracuse last time these two teams met earlier in the season. syracuse is gonna be a 1 seed in the dance no matter what. L-ville is gonna be tryin to shake off some recent losses. Plus the last game ever to be played in freedom hall??? L-ville is very well-rounded. delk on the threes, sam sam in the paint- everybody on lock-down Defense.
im not betting louisville, but im definitely not taking syracuse either.Comment -

#31Louisville is the play ! 685 wins at Freedom Hall, not 684 !!
Pitino will be on fire !!
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -Louisville coach Rick Pitino says he can think of no better sendoff for venerable Freedom Hall than a big game with big-time implications.
The Cardinals (19-11, 10-7 Big East) will close their home for the last 54 seasons on Saturday when they host top-ranked Syracuse (28-2, 15-2). They move to a new downtown arena next fall.
Louisville has won 684 games at Freedom Hall over the years. A victory over the Orange would almost certainly propel the Cardinals into the NCAA tournament. Louisville upset Syracuse at the Carrier Dome three weeks ago.
The Cardinals are planning on honoring their 1980 and 1986 national championship teams as part of the pregame festivities.
Freedom Hall, which hosted six Final Fours, will remain in use as part of the state fairgrounds. Kentucky coach John Calipari has talked about having the Wildcats play at the arena two or three times a year.

#32I cant remember the last time where #1 is the underdog against a team unranked. Louisville needs this one bad and Pitino will have them ready. The Ville wins this one.Comment -

#33I disagree. I know this will be a huge square play, but 'Cuse is the right pick in this one. This line is off. Syracuse will be favorite by tip-off and they will win by 6+ points...Comment -
