You are all over it - John Fields is the Seahawks leading rebounder, and averaging over 10 points a game. They could still cover, and they beat Towson in one game this year when he was not that productive, but that is enough to lay off this game, in my opinion.

UNC-WILMINGTON is 11-4 straight up against TOWSON ST since 1997.

FIELDS is out for UNC WIL which IS pretty huge blow. We are talking about the SEAHAWKS losing their top man on the boards AND highest FG%. TOMKO seems to have a healthy ankle now, so at least the SEAHAWKS have that going for them.





TOWSON (not townson ) is healthy and over the years has a GREAT record at (N) sites going 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games. They just haven't faired well against UNC WIL.

This TIGERS team is the same club that gave leauge best OLD DOMINION a dog fight on the road just weeks ago while UNC WIL gets beat by nearly 20 pts, which just goes to show the TIGERS are s_hitty but are better then their record suggests (they are 13-12 ATS as apposed to UNC WIL 12-16 ATS).

TOWSON does have horrible defense. FIELDS did not contribute much of anything the last time the SEAHAWKS beat the TIGERS. Oddly enough he only took one shot but played 21 minutes. Pretty strange for their top offensive guy to only score 2pts... he was avg 10.5ppg and 8.5 board per game.

If the SEAHAWKS won once without him, maybe they will be just fine. TOMKO could win this on his own but he's going to need another stellar performance.

They've lost 4 straight and 11 of their last 12. This will be the 21st meeting between the two teams. UNCW leads the series 13-7 with 10 of its wins over Towson coming since the Tigers joined the CAA in 2002

coach said last night that he was not 75% and might not play much in the game......
