I prefer the smaller, no name conference over the bigger, named conferences because I find them to have weaker lines. Everyone is different though, so you gotta go with what you feel comfortable and confident in.

Its so nice when you are betting on like Duke or Villanova and they go to the line and hit there free throws.

I like the southern conference too, they hit there free throws and arent careless, thats a great league. But some teams shouldnt be allowed to play.

ETSU used to be in the southern conference but when we dropped football had to move to Atlantic Sun

Its just too painful. I have been saying it for a while, but watching the new mex st/nevada game sealed it. They dont even play defense.

Well if you do better in ACC and Big East then you should stick to your strenghts. But to stop betting something because it is no fun to watch is bad. There is no reason to watch some games you bet on. Just check the results after the game. Consider it an investment rather then feeding an action urge. Bet the value and watch the games you think will be fun to watch.

One of the best statements I have read on this board and could not agree with it more, plus it will add about 10 years to your life

In my opinion this is one of the most underrated keys to being a good gambler. How many times do people lose on 2H bets just because they are losing another bet? It is a nessecity to bet all the games you want and watch what you want and leave it at that.

Another key aspect of it is you use so much of your energy into capping the games that you don't have anything left after watching a game and having to cap tomorrow's card. I'm a firm believer of this approach, however I do have those games that I watch in order to get a better feel for but aside from that, I just check the box scores around the end of the game.

Of course. Typically I watch any game I can get a feed too or that I can find on TV for the first two months of the year. Got to learn about these college kids. But, at this point there is no reason to watch two shitty Pac 10 teams as we have learned all we need at this point. Completley agree with you ice.

Ugh. I thought it was bad when I had a team score 22 pts in the first half, then 63 points in the 2nd half. Then a few days
later I had a team that scored 17 pts in the first half. Then tonite I choose Missouri State to whip Evansville. The ending score
was 52-46. I won my bet, but man, come on, if you can't score 50 points in your game I best not see you in any ncaa tournament...
