    K-state a no. 1 seed?
Lunardi's got them pegged as no. 1 out West
personally I still think this is Duke's to lose, considering the much tougher schedule they played (21 games vs. rpi 100, K-state 14 games vs. rpi 100)

I don't think K-State deserves a one - especially the way Kansas tore them apart yesterday. It should be an interesting tournament.

K-State probably blew their chance for a one-seed last night.

I'd say Duke is ahead of KSU at this point, but if both teams lose before their conference semis, who knows? It really doesn't matter, does it; you get a cupcake in the opener and then things (usually) get progressively tougher.

Only way this could happen is if K-State wins the Big 12 tournament and teams like Duke, Villanova and maybe even West Virginia tank in theirs.

Duke plays in a crap conference. Those who watched them on the road see they are deficient without refs/audience support.

K-St plays in the Big 12, a much stronger conference. They played higher ranked teams, thanks in part to their conference.

SOS is fairly even, Duke at 8 and k-state at 6, so overall I dont think its a distinctive factor between the two.
