Oklahoma +14.5: Yes, the Sooners are horrid, gutless and fade-o-matic, but I don't trust Texas with that kind of number and neither should you. I suppose they technically could win by that much, but they're inconsistent as hell and have sub-par guards. This may not be the Red River Rivalry in basketball, but it's still a big game and I expect OU to keep within shouting distance (10 or so).
Oklahoma-Texas over 145: Public loves the under, but these teams will score and score often IMHO. I've watched a lot of Texas games turn into shootouts, and OKL gives up points in bunches, too. If OKL can stay within a number where they foul at the end, I could see this total soaring to the mid-150s.
Fresno State +15: Yes, they just got blown out Saturday against SJST. Yes, they were routed on their home court by USU earlier in the season. To me, that's all the more reason to give the Bulldogs a chance here. USU is coming off a big week, where it beat Wichita State and had to travel to Hawaii. They're an incredible home court team -- I just think Fresno finds a way to stay within this number by a few.
Fresno State over 127.5: Not a strong play, but I still like the number as long as it stays under 130.
WVU/Georgetown under 136.5: Really like this one. I could see this being a 66-60 type slugfest. Both teams have it in them to lock down defensively, and with Freeman out, the firepower is diminished. I want to take WVU at -6 also, but GT is too erratic to predict spread-wise for me.
In the NBA, I like CHA (though I wish I would've taken it last night at -1, so I may just go ML), SA, PHI, UTAH and PORT.
BOL to everyone tonight.
