capri, know what you mean about WVU. i don't like giving 6 point period. that said, Huggins was righteously pissed after his ejection on national tv last monday, and i think his guys will be focused to grab back some of his dignity. my power rankings say WVU the decidedly better team, and has huge homecourt advantage. Freeman news is gravy.

UNC-G is the better team (that being a relative term), is at home on Senior Night, and has gone under this total their last 13 first halves. Georgia Southern has some high-scoring road first halves on their resume, but that's primarily because then get outscored by six points (36-30) on average on the road. UNC-G is playing better of late, and the defensive end is where they've excelled (again, relatively speaking). In a game that they desperately want to close the season out on a positive note, they'll slow the pace and lean on their defense. Georgia Southern's defense is atrocious, but no worse than either offense, and i don't think that UNC-G will make them pay for their poor defense. Could be close game, though, so prefer 1H under to game. Predicted 1H Score: UNC-G, 32-29.Comment -

really made no sense. i will say this: this is the 3rd Big East 2H under i've lost in the past month where teams were fouling down easy double digits with under 2 minutes left. i generally don't take unders in ESPN national games, guess now i have to make a rule about not taking 2H unders in Big East games because their coaches don't understand that there are no 7-pointers. if i made a rule for every loss i had in the past week, i'd have to no-play everything. oh well.Comment -

for future reference, don't put it past a Big East team to foul down 12-14 with a minute left. happened tonight, happened when WVU was at Providence, happened a third time recently that i don't recall. it made more sense with Providence because they were at home. not sure what Georgetown was trying to prove.Comment -

fair enough, i don't mind keeping an individual list, but Keno Davis is definitely on it. Huggy wouldn't do that, neither would Pitino or Boeheim (though, to be fair, they're rarely in the position). put John Thompson, Keno Davis and myself on the list of people who can't take a loss.
