that my other point....MSU is not anything special...

i thought Purdue was a near-lock for Final Four with Hummel, and definitely best team in Big Ten, though not by wide margin.

Hummel is Boilers' heart and soul, and while i wouldn't be surprised to see them win, giving 4 without Hummel is very risky. MSU has tons of depth, especially up front. probably MSU or no-play for me, likely no-play. maybe MSU 1H +2.

back to this topic: does this mean that you have advice for my mediocre golf game in addition to my mediocre handicapping?

garbage may be a little strong. at the time of those losses in December, UNC looked good enough to be top 25 and Texas looked good enough to ascend to #1. i can't argue with the fact that, in hth meetings with OSU, Purdue, Wisconsin (the other top 4 Big Ten teams), MSU is making a strong case that it's 4th best. also, unlike previous seasons in which Izzo has Spartans peaking in early March, they clearly are NOT peaking right now.

my big concern is Purdue's lack of depth. like OSU, and unlike Wisconsin and MSU, Purdue is ill-equipped to deal with the loss of as big a contributor as Hummel. i'll be more than happy to lay off of MSU today, though - my point is more that i think it's a no-play, as i think Purdue wins but doesn't cover and that's a pretty thin margin on which to place a wager.

whenever 1 side is getting hammered like that a 4 point spread doesnt bother me...honestly i thinks it either pur wins and covers or they dont win....hopin it drops a point but i guess if it doesnt all the more reason to like them

Thanks Marty. I starting to really like Riverside for a big play. Let you know later. I will be watching the line to see if it moves in the contrarian direction. If it ticks to 2.5, I will buy the hook to put me at +3

                              enjoyed reading this guys

after yesterdays debacle my heads on a swivel

I like marq. and virginia today,

I measured the stats and averages and seton came out 75-70.

I haven't watched mrquette much this year but I have seen seton hall and haven't been that impressed

they rely to much on hazell IMO

and virginia came out to 68-65 which leaves a lot of value from the 9-

if you look at my math test thread, it went 17-16 finding 5 or more points off the average

compared to yesterday where I just used instinct and went 7-17

when I capped the riverside game one stat I highlighted was the off. rebounding advantage riverside has--35.9 to 27.2
