I would post my picks every night if i had a reliable place to actually place my bets....Delaware Park started accepting parlay bets of 3 or more teams for the NFL...it is about a 2 hour drive and i hit a 5 team parlay my first trip up there...i think the only place on the east coast that allows sports betting...and it still sucks because they dont accept str8 wagers...they are working on getting that fixed but some stupid court ruling said only parlays and only NFLComment -

Save up $500, and find a book with a deposit special, and then start betting $20 a game. call them units, and keep track. Thats how you start off betting.

If you want to find a local, go to bars, college campuses, or other places of social gathering. Ask around and you are sure to find a local. I had one in TX that I met in college.
And here's another tip, or story. When I met my local he was taking NBA bets for the first time in 2 years. He started at the beginning of the NBA season. By the All-Star break he had told me that he would pay me 100 dollars for every person I found that would bet NBA with him. Now you guess what that means. Houlihan is solid, now though with this argument i've learned a lot of the things i've been wanting to learn and found nobody who gave me any tips about them, I live in Dominican Republic and it's not that i don't have the money to bet online, but haven't trying to find a way to do cuz i didn't understand the whole thing.
