Your right, I just am amazed that MN blew Wi out of the water and have been playing real good basketball the last couple outings.

Robbie Hummel is in a slump right now. I really think this game comes down to the wire. Minnesota will definitely give them a run for their money. Illinois did Saturday, even though it was not indicated by the final score. Maybe Purdue hits late free throws for the cover but I would be more confident in Minnesota with the points. A no play for me.

Let's just hope purdue doesn't turn into purdon't!! I think minnys run is over. they are 4-10 against winning teams and 1-4 as a fav. badgers were a huge win for them but you can't keep beating teams that are better than you.

How do you figure on Robbie Hummel? In his last outing versus Illinois he had 22 points, 12 rebounds, 2 blocks, and 2 steals. Slump? He had four points at Ohio State, but only took 3 shots. That's hardly a slump. I suggest you get your facts straight.

You are correct that this game will be a dogfight, but only because its being played in the barn. The key to this game will be Purdue's senior Keaton Grant, who has been hot from deep late...if he scores 12-15, Minnesota has no chance. Purdue is head and shoulders above the goofers in talent, and as long as we hit our free throws, Purdue will cover.

this is a no play for me, but only because I don't bet for or against Purdue.

Hummel was in a slump earlier this season before breaking out against OSU at home with 8 threes in the first half. He's been solid since.

MN 5-2 SU at home, lost at home to MS and UM. They are 3-4 ATS at home. Covered against IU (fav) OS (OSU was still hurt and MN was a 4 pt fav) and UW. MN has a 1.9 positive home court scoring differntial.

PU is 5-2 SU on the road, and 3-4 ATS. Covered road games against IL, MS, OS and lost road games to NW,UW.PU has a 2.4 positive away court scoring differential.

I have this MN 66 PU 67. Very tight.

bit of a lean purdue but minnesota was blowing people out the start of the season- home court in this kinda game is pretty big.

I was going to go with Purdue until I took a closer look at the stats and decided no play. Although Minnesota averages 74.5 points for and 64.2 points against overall, their numbers are significantly better at home. When at home Minnesota averages 79.8 points for and 59.0 points against. Their defensive field goal percentage against is also 36.8% when playing at home. It was enough to take me off this game, hope it helps.

I'm all over Purdue here. They are a MUCH better team. Too much leadership and talent for the Boilermakers to blow an important conference game like this. Purdue by 9.
