who has advice for basketball totals? i literally pick totals about 25 percent correctly and sides much much higher than that...use to think it was just bad luck or something but i think i just try to exploit large or small numbers too much. i stopped playing them but i wouldnt be opposed to giving it another try. thanks

For College totals I only would play an under if the spread is real high (so the fouling at the end does not occur) and would only play an over for smaller spreads. But generally they are hard to cap and should be avoided. I would only play if you pick something up in the local newspaper quoting the coach as saying he needs to "slow the game down" or "play up tempo".Comment -
Use Pomeroy pace & tempo ratings. I always feel more comfortable playing under a total that looks too high opposed to playing over a total that looks too low. When you play under at least you're winning most of the game! LoL!!!Comment -
