they are over-rated. but still a tough team. going through a down trend. this is the time of year to do it if you are gonna have a bad stretch. They will bounce back, finish the season out strong, have a good showing in the BE tourney. and when the big dance comes around, they are just as much in it as any other teams not named Kentucky and KansasComment -

LT, you forgot Georgetown who is as good as either one of those. Also, Villanova, Marquette, Pitt, and even Louisvile are capable of making an ELite 8 run. Louisville has played every Big East power tough and rightfully beat West Virginia on the road and DID beat Cuse on the road. Pitt and Villanova are both battle tested teams that will be there in March. I think Marquette's ceiling is a little lower but they are very tough and well coached.Comment -
Big East is such a tough conference to play in, and its difficult somtimes to read how teams will adapt from playing such a physical grind it out competive conference sched and tourney to playing teams with different styles in the NCAA tourney.
I do agree with LT, that Cuse and WVU stand head and shoulders above the rest. but as much as an over achiever that Pitt is you can't overlook the fact that they have now beaten
the top 4 BE teams by conf record (other than themselves) in Syracuse, WVU, Nova, and Louisville.
Pitt is a team that could lose in the first or second round.... or make it to the final four in my opinion.Comment -

I cant believe this is even being talked about are you kidding me? Villanova is not overrated. They are a quality team that has some of the best players in the country. They have one of the deepest benches in the country are nearly impossible to beat off the dribble drive and penetrate and kick.
Just because they lose a game doesnt mean there over rated thats a complete joke to say. They will make the elite 8 , but the only team im willing to say who makes it to the final 4 as of right now is Kansas without the brackets yet
