    Oral Roberts-Austin Peay Total
    OVER 133 (-105)
Austin Peay is a solid scoring club, averaging over 71 ppg on the season. They amp it up another three points to nearly 74 ppg at home, shooting slightly better than their 44% yearly field goal percentage, hitting for 46% on their own court. The Governors have scored 70 or more at home this season in 11 of 13. All 11 of those games hit for better than this number. Peay is led by the dynamic duo of Guard Wes Channels and Forward Anthony Campbell who account for 44% of the team's offensive output. Both are deadly 3 point shooters, hitting 38% or better and they both shoot free throws well at 72 and 82% respectively. Oral Roberts heads to town, hitting for right around 68 ppg this season on 43% shooting. They actually average about a point and a half more on the road than their regular season average. The Golden Eagles have hit for 70 points or more on the road in 6 of their last 7. They have a quartet of players who average in double figures, led by Dominque Morrison who hits for 15.3 per game. Morrison and frosh Warren Niles are the main outside threats, both hitting around or slightly above 35% from long range. Their defense away from home has been much worse than their overall season numbers. Oral Roberts gives up almost seven more points per game on the road at 72 than their regular season average and yields 45% shooting from the floor. They have trouble defending the perimeter as they give up around 40% from beyond the arc. 9 of 13 away from home for Oral Roberts have eclipsed this evening's total. Austin Peay. They both average right around 67 possessions per game with Austin Peay the far more efficient offensive squad at 1.026 points per possession, while Oral Roberts is at 0.98 points per possession. Defensively, ORU has been the more solid unit per possession at least with 0.96 points per possession while Peay is giving up over 1.03 points per possession. So the numbers would yield a final score right around the total if you look at the Pomeroy system. Adding into the mix the stats from the season, I see this game eclipsing tonight's total and see the game coasting into the high 130s or low 140s making the OVER attractive to me.
