DOGS Steal the FAVS bracket tournament
I got this from another forum where they charge money, but Here SBR said I can run it using SBR POINTS. Its a fun contest read the rules and reply if you're interested, Posting this early to build interest.
It's called "DOGS STEAL THE FAVORITES" bracket tournament.
> Spots are available at 25pts per spot
> A contestant choses his/her spot(s) in the bracket by requesting teams of their choice (by availability)
RULES:
> 1. Once selection day has happened, each contestant who has paid choses teams within the bracket. The opening lines by (sbrlines) will be used to assign their game's spread.
> 2. If you have the favorite you move on to the next round if your team covers the spread. If its a push you lose.
> 3. If you have the dog you move on to the next round if your team covers the spread or pushes.
> 4. Should you have a dog that covers the spread or pushes but does not win the game your team is out but you are still in. You steal the team from your opponent that won the game and continue on with them as your team.
> 5. It really doesnt matter who gets who because teams change hands throughout the tourny. Teams will be assigned on a first to pay basis. After the teams are set for the tourney and contestants have paid their points, they need to send a PM to ME of a list of teams in order of their preference. I will give contestants teams requested by availability in the order from their list of requested teams... being the team highest on their list that no one that has paid before them has already been assigned.
> 6. Payouts: 10% to contestants who make the Final Four, then the rest of the pot goes 75% to the WINNER. 25% to the runner up. All winnings will be paid after the tourney's end. The prize pool is 64 spots X 25 SBR points. (TOTALS 1,600 pts.> Final 4 teams win 160pts, WINNER wins 720+160=880pts, RUNNER UP wins 240+160=400pts.
> 7. As the runner of the pool I will be playing but will take 2 teams of my choice available half way through picks #32 & 33. All decisions made by me (pool administrator) are final. There won't be any disputes over spreads, rules etc. Its pretty easy & fun!

If You are interested send me your points along with the number of spots, first to pay points will be first to chose their teams after selection day. I will have a list posted of availability.
