CP has been plagued by turnovers by the young talent this year, so coach Joe Callero recently moved Senior Guard Lorenzo Keeler to Point Guard. They are setting up plays to get him more shots, and having him be the playmaker in passing spreads.
It worked last game, they beat UC Riverside as road dogs.
On Feb.11, Keeler scored his 1,000 point as a Mustang. This took place in a 72-76 tight losing effort vs. Long Beach, prompting Callero to make the switch.
As a matter of fact, if you take a look Cal-Poly usually does keep games against medicore opponents (such as tonight) tight. They should cover this game, and may even win. The win Saturday at UC Riverside (with new positions) broke a 5-game drought. No injuries.
This Saturday night, Cal-Poly is off to Hawaii for a 1am EST game all the degenerates will be on.
Cal-Poly is 9-15, 6-6 Big West.
CS Northridge is 9-16, 4-7 Big West.
The line is still +8.5 but the larger% is going CP now as people start looking into this so expect to get less points if you hesitate especially if you wait for post-7pm games to make this wager.
