Kentucky vs Miss St got a little more interesting

Freshman DeMarcus Cousins has gotten hundreds of messages from Mississippi State fans, who found out the big man’s phone number before Kentucky’s visit to Starkville.
He hopes to return them all with his performance on Tuesday night.
Cousins and the second-ranked Wildcats seek a sixth straight victory as they square off with the Bulldogs, who’ve won 11 straight home games and three in a row against Kentucky.
Despite matching a season low with five points in his most recent game, Cousins is still averaging 15.9 points and 10.2 rebounds during an impressive first season, earning him enough notoriety to receive a flood of text messages and voicemails over the weekend.

“Some were racial, and others were girls like, ‘Let’s make out.’ I don’t know what to expect from Starkville.” Cousins said.
“I’m going to change (the phone number) after the game,” he added. “I want to see what they have to say then.”


Thought it was kind of a funny article i was reading on this game thought i would post it. Not sure who to take in this game should be a good one.

Should be good, Varnardo can make sure he is a first round pick by handling Cousins girth 2morrow night, he might well be totally dominated though, or Cousins might try to hard and get himself in foul trouble or a bunch of talking and mess. no sir not confident in them at all...probably a pass for me as mis st is inconsistent as shit....im just saying you know damn well every fuk stick in here is gonna be talkin about how "easy" this game is, how Ken is gonna win by 20, blah, blah, blah...i heard this shit in my head soon as i saw this line and if you pay any attention around here for the most part these "easy" games are anything but....could ken roll them paying all the squares that been getting slaughtered this week? no doubt...just not the side i like to be on so to me its simple either mis st or pass and seeing how i dont trust them it more than likely a pass....gl today

Thanks and GL to you as well. It's a homer pick for me so maybe i'm biased. I can see a close game with Miss State fouling at the end and UK covering the spread. Anything can happen though. UK is due for a slip up.

i would say that St is pretty much playing for there tourney lives and this is a very big game for them so although they are inconsistent much like lou sunday, ucon yesterday, i would think you see there best effort....really comes down to if that stick figure can hold his own on the inside vs Ken big boys and mis st ability to knock down the trey(the ultimate equalizer in college hoops)
