While Syracuse is flying high, Louisville may have hit rock bottom recentlyIf Louisville has any chance against Syracuse, they’ll need a significantly better effort.
However, it just doesn’t seem like it’s going to happen. Any good Rick Pitino coached team plays solid defense, and that is just a commitment that Louisville has not made yet this season. They rank 204th in the country in points allowed, and 138th in opponents field goal percentage. Against a team as potent as Syracuse is offensively that’s not going to get the job done.
The simple truth is that the Orange are simply playing at a higher level than almost anyone right now. While they may lose a time or two more in the regular season, it won’t happen
