not sure. no injuries that I can see. just a form slump i guess. they've been real bad of late. giving 8 to LM has to be on reputation alone and not what i've seen of late. i'm happy to oppose them.

I can only see this line going one way and that is down. if you are going to play i think 8 is as good as it is going to get.

This is my only play as well on Sunday, just too many factors not to play this one.

LM had 3 tough SU road losses in conference during the month of January to 3 of the top 4 teams in the MAAC, however they were in all of these ball games and could have won them all SU; they covered in all 3 of course. In addition, they've won 2 straight and their last 3 on the road and carry one of the best road ATS marks in all of college hoops at 9-2 ATS.

On the other side, I agree with ya, Iona has been struggling of late. Lost to second to last place Manhattan at home, barely squeaked by last place Marist, and before that got blown out at Siena. This team is not clicking at all and to ask them to cover 8, is a tall order.

I would not be surprised to see the Greyhounds win this one SU but I too like the points in this one.

Glad to hear we are on the same side here Ice. All valid points. Very similar philosophy/reasons to me for playing the greys - solid road team in reasonable form versus iona who have imploded. capped the game then looked at the spread. thought it would be around pk perhaps slightly in favour of iona due to home ct advantage + reputation. nearly had to pick myself up off the floor when i saw iona were giving LM 8 start. if iona decided to turn up then LM would have their hands full but seeing is believing and I think Iona are in a big rut that they are unlikely to get out of against the hounds. let's gettum again ice.
