Syracuse will come up big against Louisville before heading on the road to Georgetown. Meanwhile, Georgetown will take it easy at Rutgers, to prepare the war against the top conference team at home. So, I take:
      Syracuse-7.5
      Rutgers +11
      +
      Northwestern +1

I like NW too. Consider the numbers: Wildcats are 13-6 ATS and Minnesota is 9-12 ATS (overall). NW is 5-1 straight-up at home lately defending their homecourt with good effort. Golphers are 1-4 ATS on the road of late. And you can throw in some REVENGE factor for Northwestern as well.
I make it a small play on NW, because of my 2 concerns......Cats lost to Iowa last game on the road (and the Hawkeyes STINK), and the line opened up as Minny -2.5 and now it is down to Minny -1 (meaning $$$ is pouring in on NW), the public is typically wrong & I hate betting with the vast majority.

I'm with you on NW. These teams are even, but Minny is slumping. Minny has more name recognition among bettors than NW, so that is why the line is where it is. NW is the right side.

I'm still confused as to why MINN is favored?

Add NW 4-1 ATS at HOME, like the WILDCATS +1.

                    Another game to watch:
                    La Salle+ 4.5
                    St.Joseph +4.5

Minn has one less lost in conference play. I think that's why that are favored. I noticed at least today you could almost call the spread from conference records.
