first thought is no way but it will depend on turnover numbers I think

I know seton hall likes to get out and run off turnovers but if the irish can make baskets seton hall will walk it up the court and be clueless in the half court

the math says seton hall 80 to 75.9

that is just the teams made shots averaged out no injuries or other factors involved

so here is the key in my mind

notre dame on offense turnover rate is 3rd on pomeroy

and 343 on defense

so they don't turn it over and they don't steal it

seton hall is 2nd in offensive turnover rate and 207th on defense

so the numbers say there will not be a lot of turnovers leading to quick easy points

seton hall is not as good at blocking out on the defensive end according to the numbers

and they don't shoot the 3 as good

these things are leading me to like Notre dame in this game

too high man, neither team really forces the tempo with defensive pressure like Providence or Louisville.

another thing to consider is the lack of depth for the irish will mean they will more than likely not be trying to play uptempo

they have 4 starters on the floor for more than 3/4 of the game on average

notre dame doesn't defend the 3 very good

I suspect that is because they don't have the energy to play help defense when someone gets beat

with that being the case hazell might get a lot of open looks and make it a sweat
