Ball St. just lost to a decent team Akron(16-7)Saturday by only 5 points at home, they should tonights game close as they need the win. 6-4 in the Mac and Kent St. is 8-2. Dont think they will win however they will keep it within 6-8 points.

Had them Saturday in a 2 team teaser and they took Akron to overtime, had over 115 & +13 in a 6 pt. teaser that I did not even need to tease, just parlay it. I really like this game alot tonite, Ball St. will show up to play tonite & take the points. Good Luck everyone.

At first glance this game looked appealing. I use several sets of paramaters and this matchup didn't pass one of the tests. I know you're basing your play on the CURRENT play of Ball St. and that may very well be correct.

In using season-longs stats, I notice that Kent is averaging around 70 ppg to teams that allow only 65.5 ppg. Ball, on the other hand, Ball St. is averaging only 60 ppg to teams that normally allow 67.3 ppg. While these two defenses are almost mirror images of themselves, once the dust clears on the computations, I see Kent with a probable line of -12.87. That's too close for me to break out the cash.

I like your thinking of using more current games as a basis for your selection. It makes sense that recent performance is more meaningful. I'm working on updating my model to reflect some of that information.

just looks to good,and when it looks to good it really isn't taking Kent St cashed a few times already this yr with them hoping for 1 more time - boy thats a lot a points.
