Illini has made 291 Ft's to wisky's 297

Illini 467 two pointers to wisky's 336

Illini 130 three pointers t wisky's 146

the numbers tell me Illinois will have a chance to stay in this game because they will be shooting closer to the basket

they have solid defensive 3 numbers and are number one on the offensive end when it comes to not getting their shot blocked

GL wiz, 9 points is alot in the big 10 but whisky at home is very tough. I wouldn't be surprised to see whisky win 62-50!

I had a bigger writeup about the emotion that wisky has had to use up to play without their big man,

I understand wisky has a high stock in the public mind

let us not forget that they needed overtime to get past Penn St

and beat michigan by 6 at home

so I try not to get to caught up in the emotion of great team, good team, bad team

I see wisky shooting from the outside in this game and illinois shooting from the paint

I obviously don't have a crystal ball,I am simply making an educated guess

however he is a big body that would have helped

there are downsides to every pick we make

Illinois is young and hasn't perfromed great on the road,wisky is one of the toughest places to play

I am just balancing the fact that Illinois will have a size advantage and hoping that will keep them in the game

i like illinois +5.5 first half.................maybe a 28-25 game at that point. its all about the first 5 minutes. illinois will know if it can hang then as wisconsin isnt a team of big runs, they grind and maybe illinois can grind with em

we are still pumped from the MSU W and wana experience that feeling again. plus the good doctor MIKE DAVIS finally showed us he was alive and hopefully that will kick start his play for the rest of the season

Wisconsin is going to roll. Illinois might be a good play in the first half (until the past two games UW had been starting really really slow without Leuer)....but they will come back and take over in the second. Not sure if theyll win by double digits, but they could be a really good halftime play.
