Looking at todays games, one stands out the most.

VANDY -2.5 This is a 6 unit play. This is probably my biggest unit play of the season so far. Tennessee has won three in a row comming into this game, and defensively, the vols have been digging in. However, Tennessee has not really been tested on the road as of yet. Only 3 of their "road" have been true road games. Then again, this is a revenge situation for Tennesse as Vandy put a hurtin on them just a couple of weeks ago (85-76).

Vandy is 17-5 on the season so far, while Tennesse is 18-4 so far. Vandy has lost 2 of the last 3 and is primed to right the ship in this one. Home cookin has been a plus for Vandy who are a perfect 11-0 at home. Vandy has been playing good D this season and are holding opponents to about 68 points per game. With Tennessee's current defensive efforts, look for this game to be around 135-140 points for an UNDER score.

Playing a second game tonight:

Wake Forest -6 This is a 4 unit play. BC is coming into this game with back-2-back losses, one of which was to Duke at home just a few days ago. BC's last 3 losses have been by 4 points or fewer. BC will not be able to keep this game under the number.

Wake Forest has won its last two games, including a win on the road at Virginia, and is ready to serve up a beating on BC. Considering the fact that Wake Forest has won 10 of 11 in Winston-Salem, Wake should win this one easily. Combine the home court advantage and the play of Aminu (16.1ppg/11.1rpg) and Smith (13.4ppg/5.8apg), BC will not have an answer in this one.

Again, liking some home cooking in this one.

The more I look at my original post, the more I like the UNDER play in the Tenn/Vandy Game. The defensive efforts that these two teams have been very credible. Looking at the defensive efforts of each team over the past last 5 games leads me to believe that my earlier prediction will be correct.

This game should be well UNDER the 147 point line!!

TENN/VANDY UNDER 147 for 4 units!!!
