better chance of winning SU against opponent. memphis or michigan?
so who has a better chance of winning STRAIGHT UP against their opponent

    memphis over gonzaga
    or
    michigan over wisconsin

    ?

    and why?

thinking both should win straight up but which one is relatively safer

the answer i like the best will get 7 points, just for the heck of it.

Memphis. Said it in another thread. They need a signature win to cement their stature in the NCAAs. Memphis doesn't have a great RPI and isn't going to get a signature-type win in C-USA. This is a huge game for them. Gonzaga's road defense is not as solid as what they play at home, so I think Memphis gets the win and maybe even covers the spread. Michigan has no direction. Lots of talent, but they aren't playing like a unit. Wisconsin wins.

I think Memphis is your safer bet too. Mostly for the reason that I don't think Michigan is going to beat Wisconsin. Yes, Michigan has played pretty good at home, but their only big win is against UConn. All the other quality opponents that they have faced, they have lost to. Wisconsin takes good care of the ball, and they should take care of Michigan.

I think they both lose straight up. Wisconsin will limit the damage from Simms and Harris and outperform Mich in half court ball. Gonzaga is used to travelling across the country for big games as they played MSU close for 39 minutes and took it to Illinois for the better part of the game. Memphis is not as good as either one of those two teams IMO
