Towson Tigers +14 at Drexel
Towson has quietly covered 4 of there last 5 on the road. These two teams last met on January 13th of this year with Drexal escaping with a 3 point win. Towson shot only 14 of 25 from the line which was the difference in that one. Towson actually beat them straight up last year.
Drexel laying 14 in this one is a bit too much, in the last 10 meetings between these two Drexal has never beaten Towson by at least 15 or more. When Towson played conference leaders George Mason a few games ago they were only 5.5 point dogs but they are 14 point dogs against a worse team today, that doesn't make sense. Drexal also has a big game coming up against George Mason on the weekend and this could be a look ahead spot tonight thinking this could be an easy win for them.
At the very least Towson should be able to keep this one within single digits and get the cover tonight. Towson is shooting 76% from the line in there last five while Drexal is only shooting about 56% from the line. If Towson can make there free throws and make some shots from the field I think they can win this game outright. +850 might be worth a very, very small play on Towson although I think they can keep this one close tonight.
