Pitino says Louisville was robbed @ WV
Louisville is probably also ready to get back in action after blowing a 12-point lead with 10 minutes left in a 77-74 defeat at No. 9 West Virginia on Saturday. The Cardinals felt that two calls down the stretch in which possession went to the Mountaineers should have gone the other way.
"I'm tired of the officiating," an irate coach Rick Pitino said. "That's why I'm not speaking. I'm tired of the officiating."

Pitino is absolutely correct in that both calls were terrible . . . and wrong. But on the other hand, there were a lot of other things that contributed to his team letting a 12-point lead get away.

Apologists will always say officating wasn't the only reason.
However, we are supposed to demand fairness and professionalism from salaried referees in the NCAA and the NBA. Maryland was also robbed yesterday.
Paul Pierce stuck his arm out when nobody was near him to set the shot (made the basket) that would have sealed the game for the Celtics. Artest walked into him and took a dive. The basket was called off and the Lakers got the ball again resulting in the game-winning shot by Kobe.
I avoided the Celtics game specifically because I've seen officials Salvatore and Davis call soft or blatantly wrong fouls (at crucial times) against Boston this year.
        It happenned again.

Pitino has every right to be pissed off. The first possession call that went in WVU's favor was horrible, how do they not see the ball go clearly off that Mountaineers head? Then the Louisville 3-pointer where the guy got hit right on the arm was worse.

I have to agree even though I don't like Louisville. They may come out fired up tonight at home against a uconn team that's nothing special. Bad celtics call costs me alot as well. Sad to see

Pitino Shitmino, how many times has Louisville won because of some bias refs calls. Probably more than there opponents considering there fan base is pretty strong.
