UConn will rebound today and cover -4.5 against Marquette who cannot win on the road either. UConn plays up to it's competition (Texas) and as we all seen @ Providence plays down to it's comp. also especially on the road. UConn will win easily today, probably double digits. GL

Not sure if I agree with you. UConn is shaky this year. Marquette is mabye the best 12-8 team around. They lost by 1 @ WVU, by 2 @Vill and by 5 @SU. So saying UConn is going to beat them by DD is sort of like saying UConn is better than those 3 teams I mentioned. One thing I will give Conn is that they are super tough at home. But I expect this one to be close.

GG, I'm not saying UConn is better than any of those teams but coming off a loss they need to win this big to get some confidence going into Monday Nights game @ Louisville. If they struggle today, good-night @Louisville. They need Coach Calhoun back ASAP. He's gonna miss at least the next 4 games. If they start losing it could be a LONG season. Blaney is good, but it's tough to replace a Legend.

They looked like shit in the 1st half against Texas also. That is a huge problem for UConn, putting 2 halves together in the same game. I'll stick by them today. GL

I hear what your saying. Just offering my view on it. Marquette is just as hungry for a BE win and UConn is not "UConn" of past years right now. But you have to compare the quality of teams Marquette has played already in the BE and to say UConn will beat them by DD is a little zealous in my opinion. I just expect the game to be a lot closer than you. I think the books laid a nice trap today and much of the public bit on it.

UConn closed out the 1st half on an 8-0 run to be down by only 5. They should feel lucky to be only down 5 the way they played the 1st half. 9-2 TO's UConn and Marquette turned that into 10-0 points off TO's. I like the 2nd Half line. UConn -4.5. They may not get to DD liked I was hoping but I do think they put together a good enough 2nd half to cover original -4.5.

I'm gonna say I disagree with you there too. Are you a UConn fan? Because this team is not that good. Take away the Texas win and what have the done in the last month? 2-5 in their last 7. On the year they have lost to Duke, Kentucky, Cinncy, G-Town, Pitt, Mich and now the lower tier teams like Prov and Marquette. This is not a Top 25 team. Polls are biased and so is the betting public. Sorry you lost your bets.

Yes, I am a UConn fan and I know this team isn't that good but I have seen them go on spurts and play like they are a good team. They are definitly better when they are runnin'. Up tempo is what they like but they don't have the ability to force other teams to play their style. It is finally showing how much they miss Coach Calhoun. They will have a few more good wins this year but I thought this was the one they needed to get over the hil which is now looking like a mountain.
