if i didnt make a vow not to bet big-10 after 1st week of conference play id be all over this with ya houli...in fact may have to ignore the fact this conf kills me as this is looking like 1 of those special spots that are hard to pass up

I was looking at UM too, but then the line moved to -4.5, which was a concern. Minnesota was just a 1 pt favorite over MSU at home this weekend. Why couldn't they make UM a 1 pt favorite? I don't see a huge difference in MINN and MICH ,do you?

huge no but number wise about 4 points dif between mich and min so i wouldnt worry to much the spread, its pretty much what it should be going off the numbers 4 is right imo..hopin ppl keep pounding mich st and drive it up even higher 6 would be great (doubt we see that though)

Minn is much better, and more talented.

But Anybody that sees how I bet knows that I bet numbers not teams. Laying 4.5/5 on the road, in conference is a sin.

They are just adding juice to the number. -4 (-127)

Tha shows me how hesitant that they are to lay so many pts on the road. Other books, 5Dimes, really dont care. They are more interested in book balancing.

Boise St. last night was 0-4 SU on the road in conference.

They got the ATS/SU win last nite.

The real question is are you going to bet Ball St???

Anyway look at Miami Ohio's road schedule...NC Wilmington/Xavier/Colorado/Kentucky/La Tech/ New Mex. No easy road games this season. So that SU road record is irrelevant to me. If anything they are getting better b/c of all those tugh teams they have faced.

Numbers are skewed. Miami has played at:
Xavier (lost by 3), Cincinnati (lost by 4), Kentucky (losy by 2), Colorado, New Mexico, and even top of the MAC Buffalo and Akron.

Miami seems to play to their competition.

Now lets see who Ball St. has played at Home:
Hell you better be 7-3 at Home after playing these teams:

Valpo
UC Davis
North Carolina Cental (WHO in the hell?)
Maryland East Shore (WTF!?)

Butler -- reasonable opponent

Manny Harris back in the lineup, as well as somewhat of a "must-win" Big Ten game for Michigan... I like them to win outright. If Michigan wants a stab at the tourney, games like these are the ones they need...

Jus sayin, look at the Big 10 standings. A lot of teams hovering around the 500 mark (including Michigan), and Wisc and MSU sitting at the top... If ever Michigan had a chance to make a strong, big 10 win, it is tonight, at home, against an undefeated (in the Big 10) Mich St squad that doesn't always show up.

I dont put must win/ big efforts into consideration when I cap a game.

I was just stating that those types of factors are impossible to quantify, as they are human emotion.

Look at the number and the spot that Michigan St. is in. 2nd road game in 4 days. Rivalry game. Michigan St. not playing well on the road against talented teams thus far this season. After seeing how piss poor N. Carolina is, and the fact Michigan damn near got blown out in that game. tells me that Michigan is always vulnerable on the road.
