I would love to rely on trends and stats but the truth is if those 2 factors determined the winners of games, we would all be rich right now! Who would have thought shitty ass Drake would knock off Missouri State last week? The oddsmakers had that one scouted perfectly and it was designed as a trap play.

Thats why I said I dont usually post my picks and I dont do write ups.

I just want to help out my fellow SBRers when I find a line I know is off. That is all. I have an eye on the Pac 10 and watch too many games for such a bad conf.

Again just telling you what I think of this game.

Thurs night I had
Portland won by 40+ (not Pac10 but close enough)
Cal won by 30+ (against Oregon)
Stanford won by 20+ (against a team that just beat Oregon in Eugene by 7)
Washington who was favored by 3.5 and if it wasnt for a stretch of 4-22 shooting in the 2nd half would have walked away with this game.

Anyway good luck to all of us that play this!

I've been over this game with a magnifying glass and I have to agree with you Harls Stanford just have to cover at home against a very poor oregon side particularly when they play away. I think your double digit assessment is closer to the mark. My book still has them at -5.5 so I'm buying the hook to take it down to -5. The UNDER is also another nice play IMO. Great find amongst the plethora of games. It was givng me a migraine going through them all. This will be my one and only play for the day. Let's gettum.

The Cal/OSU game validated this even more. Stanford ROLLS!

However you can never predict a team shooting 4-22 for 2/3rds of the 2nd half(see Washington vs. UCLA Thursday night.)

Well thanks for the congratulations, I guess that I fit the 'anyone' guy and I did go on this game , I knew that Oregon was a bad team and I don't bet the game unless I see your post on Stanford being the better team , it just made good sense to me . Thank you for posting .
