Iona comprehensively beat Rider 69-49 on the 9th of Jan at Rider, so why is Iona only -9 at home

The wager here is Iona -9...I dont generally post any picks but im uber confident here and this to me seems like easy $$$....

True sportsfan, however recent form would suggest that they are displaying a greater consistency than rider, particularly since the conference season began.... Cant see how Rider can keep this from being a double digit blowout imo....BOL

I like Iona too. Aside from Rider getting blown out by them a week ago, Rider has really struggled in conference play. Yes theyre 3-4 (Iona is only 4-3), but two of those wins are against Marist....and those shouldnt even count. 8 points (thats what I got it at) is a lot for a team like Iona to cover, so I'm not going to big on it...but I think its the right play.

Iona covered ATS in last 3 games quite comfortably, and yes whilst -9 is quite large we are in the serious end of the season and it shows as Iona really have stepped up defensively since conference season began as well, allowing an average of only 48.6 opposition ppg, compared to 66ppg for the previous 10 games to this. Have them at -12 myself... Good luck

It's -8 everywhere so I hope you got -8 as well by the time you made your bet. Never have seen either team play this year so it's odd that Iona smoked Rider by 20 at Rider and are only an 8 point favorites at home. Might be worth putting a small wager on Iona.
