I think Duke should win this game, primarily because of their offense, but WF's defense should keep this game close. WF should also get their fair share at the charity stripe because they are aggressive. Hopefully the zebras don't help Duke out too much.

I guess the stat that is troublesome is that "Wake Forest has lost its last 11 trips to Duke, all by double-digit margins." Even a CP3 WF team lost by 10 @ Duke.

Still, athleticism should prevail for WF.

i like this play...love the value in the points...if xavier was at duke and catching 15.5 im sure there would be alot of people all over them....this wake team was able to hold off xavier in the skip prosser game....

The only flaw with that reasoning is that 63% of the public is on Wake forest and in Duke's last game against BC, 78% of the public was on BC. GL

This has bigtime rlm, but I wasn't saying that Wake is the wrong choice. Just that Duke isn't a public favorite. The line has moved 3pts in Wakes Favor with the majority of the bets coming in on Wake.

so in theory the books are trying to get the public to put more on wake by moving the line to +15.5 because they are thinking duke rolls. Is that correct Thinking Hamm?!

Yea that is one scenario, it works out a lot of the time. But the same thing happened in the Indy/Minny game and the Hoosiers won SU. I have also heard about different groups that drive up lines by betting one side. Then when the line is at it's highest they bet the other side and try to middle. It did work out on N. Arizona/ Port St. today. Public was on Portland St., the line moved like a half point in favor of Port St. and N. Arizona won SU. I guess you just have to pick your spots with that method.

Crazy how fast these games can swing. When Wake tied the game with about 14 to go, Wake looked like a solid pick,then 3 minutes later Duke was up by 13. NCAA Hoops are truly amazing.
