fair warning: started 0-5 yesterday and put myself in timeout for the rest of the day. now 5-12 since started posting picks earlier this week, so you may be better off just fading me.
onward and upward
3* Georgetown/Villanova over 147
Nova runs teams into submission and 5 of its last 6 games have been in the 150s or higher (exception was 74-72 at Marquette, which was close). Georgetown runs more than in the past, and in a game this week against Seton Hall when it looked as if the Hoyas would slow things down to their pace, they were unable to do so. The Hoya defense is not as good as in past seasons, and they allow a lot of layups and transition points, which could be death against a great transition team in Nov a. If Georgetown can't slow down Seton Hall at home, they won't be able to dictate pace to Nova on the road. I have this at 83-76, so I'm laying off the spread but taking the over in the early game.
