Parlays vs. straight wagers???

I'm quite new to this and got spoiled with winning quite a few 2-4 team parlays, but after putting some actual thought and analysis into games has really killed me. What do you think is the best way to approach the spreads?

A high straight bet on a favorite
A medium parlay on two favorites
A small parlay on three favorites

play average amount on single games and sprinkle a little on moneylines and parlays just my 2 cents

Thanks. I figured that. I just got too spoiled with winning quite a few 6:1 and 12:1 parlays in the beginning and thought it was easy money.

Hahaha yeah....I don't know what would suck more, losing it in the very first game, or getting all the way and losing it in the last game.

Although Bodog sucks, they sure make it easy to bet straight on some games with those red boxes around them. I think I've been like 6-1 recently on straight games with the Bodog restrictions.

haha yeah as long as teams give it their all and play with heart im fine with a loss

I'm never fine with a loss, but if it comes down to one team in a 15 team parlay and they just get completely screwed over I just might be fine with the loss. It's hard with the cable/dish companies restrictions to watch 10 percent of the games in standard definitions though, so you never know how bad it really is.
