Cornell is a solid team out of the ivy leage and they will cover the spread against #1 KU!!
I have a lot riding on this game!

Good luck, but I don't think Cornell will put up much of a fight. KU is too athletic vs. a bunch of nerdy white guys

Question, if Harvard and Cornell end up splitting in the Ivy League, and Harvard earns the automatic birth does Cornell have a chance at an NCAA birth? This is assuming they run the table vs the rest of the Ivy League. I think there's a good possibility, and there will be 4 and 5 seeds around the country that would hate seeing the Big Red in their first round game.

They are currently sitting at 12-3. Let's say they split with Harvard (remember no tournament in Ivy League), and lose one game somewhere along the way in the Ivy League. That would have them finishing at 26-5.
They have compiled some very good results on the road:
- 4 point win at Alabama
- 13 point win at UMass
- 7 point win at Drexel
- 5 point win at St. Johns
- 3 point win at Lasalle
- 5 point loss at Kansas
Pretty impressive resume.

yes regul8er....i believe cornell would get a automatic bid 4sure(assuming they split the ivy league)...dont think it matters though because they should win the conference...

Drexel, UMASS & LaSalle aren't shit. They're all plus 140 RPI and are going to have records likely around .500 or worse maybe. The win at Bama and maybe the St.John's wins will hold up as decent, but I'd be willing to make a substantial wager the Ivy League NEVER gets two teams in the tournament. It'd be like the BCS letting TCU or Boise play Texas or 'Bama.

EaglesPhan, they are still wins against middle of the pack teams from the Colonial and A-10 away from home. Alot of mid majors who earn at large bids don't resumes loaded with wins against power conferences. Cornell already has 2, and held a late lead vs Kansas.
I'd have a hard time selecting a 7-9 Big East or ACC team over Cornell if they hold court rest of the way.
Harvard is no slouch either, and if the Ivy if EVER going to be a two bid conference, this might be the year.

I think cornell will be the only ivy league team to make the tourny. Go Cornell all the way!
