Big Ten Conference Play EARLY 01-06-09 UW +10 / IU +12 *

I am throwing this out early to get a little conversation rolling. As I get three or four conference games in, my handicapping gets a little better as I rely on the confernce play more than preseason.

I have UW keeping it close, losing by 7, what I really want to see for this game is the total, as I am running it at 139.5 is the break. I expect to see the books come out around 132, in that case I will put in a strong over play as I do not think that UW defense will be as tight as most predict. Kalen Lucas will not turn the ball over as much tomorrow night as he did against NW, and its there home opener. Home court in East Lansing is good for 5 pts or so.


On over to Columbus, I do not think Turner will be back as he is not schedule to return until the 9th, if he stays out, even though IU is wild and streaky, I have them losing by 8 with a total of 131. I may have to lay off this play, as I am a freak and can not objectivly HC the Hoosiers.

How bout a little feedback and then lets lock in tomorrow.

Ah Haaa, Then MS - 5.5 it is, I just went on and saw it.

I like this play alot.

IU is on the move, up to 13.5, I think its going to need to be closer to 15 to get me to get on it.

Not sure if I'll touch it but I like what I've seen out of Indiana lately.

Verdell Jones, Watford, and Doc Rivers all played well in a big confidence win vs Michigan last week.

I looked the articles on Turner tonight. I am thinking of leaning on OSU, thinking that line is going to shoot up when its official that he may play tonight. I am wondering how much it wouls swing if this is the case?

I don't think it will swing more than a point or two back toward where the line was 12-13 points. Turner's role has yet to be defined tonight. He likely won't start and who knows how many minutes he'll get. With so many questions, there might be more people staying away.
